This finnish TV-face gave a speech about trends in decoration and renovation last weekend at Rakentaminen & talotekniikka 2009 in Jyväskylä.

I got the impression that he knew what he was talking about.

Sofi Oksanen @ Jyväskylä library

Sofi Oksanen was speaking at “Old Book Days” (Vanhan Kirjan Päivät) at Jyväskylä´s public library. She talked about half an hour about Estonia´s resistance under Soviet reign.

After the presentation, she signed her books. Since we didn´t have any of Sofi´s books with us when we went there, I took couple of pictures instead. On the picture above, she kindly poses for me after I asked her to. She was actually ready to change spot to get another background, but I kind of liked the rows of chairs so I ended to take the picture right there.
